A Dallas, Texas  –  Matthew Louis Reese , 31 pleaded guilty to assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated sexual assault with serious bodily injury and sexual assault to a 15-year-old child. ‎ Matthew wasn’t attracted to  women his own age so he ventured onto a chat line where he met a teenage girl.. A herbalist has been arrest in ondo for allegedly killing his girlfriend after giving her concoction to drink in other to terminate her pregnancy. According to Vanguard, detectives in the Ondo State Police command have picked up a suspect in connection to the death of a 20-years-old undergraduate of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo. The victim Wunmi Agbeluyi was a student of National Diploma (ND) Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) impregnated by her herbalist boyfriend. The pair had initially planned for an abortion which led to the suspect giving her a concoction to drink. It was further gathered that few days after the victim took the said concoction she developed severe abdominal pains. The suspect later took the victim to a local hospital with the hope that they could flush out the remnant of the pregnancy but it eventually led to more complications.   Wummi was later transferred to the State general hospital where she died due to the persistent pains she suffered.

A police officer in Lagos accidentally shot his wife to death in Lagos,throwing the neighbourhood into confusion. Corporal Yinka Oloko is being held by his colleagues at the Lagos State Police Command after he allegedly shot his wife dead in the Egbeda area of the state. The incident occurred at about 10pm on Tuesday in the rented apartment of the policeman, Punch reports. Oloko, who is attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja, had arrived home on the evening, and started to undress in the bedroom, with his wife sitting on the bed. The corporal, while removing his pistol from the holster, was said to have mistakenly fired his wife on the lap, leading to commotion in the apartment. Oloko, assisted by neighbours, was said to have rushed the woman to a nearby hospital, but she reportedly died before they got to the hospital. A mother shot her own son dead as he drove her from a casino, where they had been celebrating her birthday, according to authorities and reports. Dora Blake, 47, from Minden, Louisiana, was arrested on a murder charge early on Sunday for killing 22-year-old Patrick Hollingsworth, according to the  Bossier Sheriff's Office .  She was also charged with  attempted murder for injuring another woman sitting in the front of the car. Authorities say the three were driving on I-20 on Saturday night after visiting a nearby casino while out celebrating Blake's birthday, which was on Sunday. Police say Blake was drunk, took out her gun and shot the other two from the back seat of the car for unknown reasons, KSLA reported. The car was found crashed into trees around 10.20 p.m. on Saturday. Hollingsworth was found dead in the driver's seat with a gunshot wound to his head. Blake told witnesses that she had been kidnapped and had shot the two other people in the car.

In their eyes they are always right. I don't know if it's pride or ego or just plain self delusion, but they are just never wrong. They would rather argue and trade blames rather than admit that they just didn't get it right this time. The sad thing is that they only end up burning their relationships and depleting any form of empathy one would feel towards them. However, they are willing to pay this price. So long as they remain right and have no reason to apologize. They'll rather die, than for once succumb to the truth of their misdeeds.
