Lawyer blinds sister during fight over father's property

A lawyer is in very big trouble after he blinded his sister during fight over father's property.
A Lagos State based legal practitioner, Barrister Olusegun Alalade and his younger brother, Babasanjo, have been arrested by the police for allegedly beating up his sister, Ifeoluwa Oluwaloseyitan and her husband, Pastor Abraham Oluwaloseyitan, and in the process, blinding her, during a fight over their late father's property, reports Punch.
It was gathered that Ifeoluwa, her husband and two other siblings had gone to inspect the painters working on one of the apartments in their father's estate located on Ladipo Oluwole Avenue, off Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, when the lawyer and Babasanjo led some hoodlums wielding cutlasses and other dangerous weapons to attack them.
One of the brothers identified as Kolawole, who works in Abuja, had allegedly embarked on the renovation of the flat so that he would be staying there whenever he came to Lagos but that did not go down with his other siblings who mobilized thugs to attack them.
Apart from Ifeoluwa who lost her eye in the attack, her husband was also slashed in the head with a machete while Kolawale was also injured.
Narrating how her brothers attacked her from her hospital bed at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital where she underwent a surgery, Ifeoluwa said:
“It all started on Saturday, October 31, when his younger brother, Babasanjo, used a machete to inflict wounds on a step-brother, Shola, in the palm inside our father’s estate. Babasanjo was arrested by the police from Man Centre Police Station but was released that same day. The lawyer was boasting before the policemen that he would deal with all of us.
On Sunday, November 1, we went to the property to see the painters working on it. I was reading a magazine beside the gate when I saw the painters rushing out.
I was approaching them to know what was wrong when Olusegun smashed a big plank on my forehead. He was hitting me, shouting ‘I will kill all of you’. He stopped when I pretended I was dead.
