The pair, who are 18 months and seven years old respectively, have wrinkled, sagging skin, joint paint and swollen faces. But the comparisons with the hero of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s short story ends there. Doctors say the siblings suffer from something called Cutis Laxa, as well as a form of Progeria, for neither of which there is any treatment. ‘We dream there is a cure for my children,’ said the children’s father, Shatrughan. ‘We’ve tried to get help from our local doctors but they have told us our only hope is from overseas.’

Shatrughan spends 500 Rupees (£5) a month on homeopathic treatment for Anjali and Keshav but it hasn’t had an effect.
Shatrughan, 40, and mother Rinki Devi, 35, have another child, 11-year-old Shilpi, who says she will teacher her siblings ‘to be strong’.
‘I get very upset but there’s nothing I can say, what do I say back to these cruel kids?’ she said.
‘I will be here for them forever but I just wish them the best education so that they are never dependent on anyone for anything as they grow up.’

Few days ago I went to Everyday supermarket at GRA to get some stuffs, as we drove pass where they sell chicken, I saw a lady that used to live on my street, first of all I was surprised to see her because it's been ages, and then again I was staring at her face and was wondering what went wrong. This lady used to be one of the prettiest ladies on my street, smooth skin, fine legs and all. Every man wanted this lady at the time. There was a particular guy that did everything he could to get her but didn't and I'm in front of her and I'm thinking if that guy sees her now he won't even give her a second look. One thing I liked about her then was her personality she was a very sweet and cheerful lady. I looked at this lady and was wondering why she's not beautiful anymore. A lot of questions went through my mind at the time. Was she sick? Is she married? If yes is she married to a monster or is she Divorced? Did she lose her job? Then It hit me rega...
Often times we're thankful for a lot of things but never thankful for a breakup. Yep! Sometimes we just have to be thankful for a breakup. You see because we're blinded by our feelings for our ex, we want to be a part of them regardless of how they feel about us or how they make us feel, we belittle ourselves do all sorts of crazy things just to be with them and sadly we ignore how they treat us. The desperation to be a part of them totally blinds us from seeing the blessings in their exit. When you reflect on your experiences with your ex trust me you'll have a lot to be thankful for. You have to understand that it's not all break ups that are bad, it's not everyone you lose that's a loss, some just needs to be kicked to the curb. laughter comes after the tears. You see, when you go through the process of hurting after a breakup you'll be thankful that * You left o...
This past weekend few of my friends were in town ( port - harcourt) for our friend's father's funeral. I went to a hotel at stadium road to meet my friend Ada Babyluv. Ada ordered for drinks for my friend and I , I asked Ada if she's not having a drink and her response was she wants to eat bole and fish she insisted that she won't taste a thing until she has eaten port - harcourt bole and fish( she's not meant to know this part but she said it was another reason she came to port - harcourt) I can't say I blame her because truthfully no bole and fish in Nigeria can be compared to the ones made in port - harcourt. No offence to lagos people but I tried eating bole and peanuts in lagos and it was horrible. Bole and fish is a street food, it's basically roasted plantain and fish dipped in peppery palm oil sauce. You can call it a roadside pleasure, there's no street in port -harcourt that you won't find bole and fish spot/joint, because...
