Wheelchair-Bound Father Learns How to Walk Again So He Can Take His Daughter Down the Aisle at Her Wedding.


Nothing could stop this father from walking his daughter down the aisle at her wedding!
On the day of Heather Duquette's wedding, her father surprised her by getting out of his wheelchair so that he could hand his daughter to her new husband – and this was no easy feat. The man, Ralph Duquette, is a leukemia survivor and, according to WCSH 6, he had a really tough battle that involved extensive chemotherapy, a five-day coma, and permanent loss of vision in one eye.‎
But that didn't stop him from persevering!
The father spent all summer with physical therapists learning how to walk again – and he gained enough strength by the time of the wedding.

Welcome to my blog, Wow!!!! It feels good saying "my blog"!  I know that I am nervous and excited at the same time, but nothing can be compared to the joy that I am feeling right now.
